Jun 26, 2024

MBC’s “Bitter Sweet Hell” has shared behind-the-scenes photos from its filming set!

“Bitter Sweet Hell” is a black comedy-thriller starring Kim Hee Sun as Noh Young Won, the top family psychiatrist in all of Korea. When an anonymous blackmailer puts her career and family at risk, Noh Young Won teams up with her mother-in-law Hong Sa Gang (Lee Hye Young), a mystery novelist, to protect their family.

With only two episodes left until its conclusion, “Bitter Sweet Hell” has released new behind-the-scenes photos showcasing the cast’s burning passion for acting, their moments of laughter on set, and their heartwarming encouragement and consideration for one another.

According to the drama’s production team, Kim Hee Sun was a bright and energetic presence on set, and she always started the shoot with a big smile on her face. Before filming, she would pore over the script, which she had already meticulously checked, to make sure she was ready.

Lee Hye Young led the atmosphere on set with a quiet and generous smile that was unlike her intense character, Hong Sa Gang. In one photo, Lee Hye Young wows with her aura as she reads her script alone.

Unlike his character, Choi Jae Jin, who has never lived life on his own terms, Kim Nam Hee brought a cheerful energy to the set with his active participation. His clever ideas and witty ad-libs captivated his co-stars, and he took the lead on set together with the staff.

Yeonwoo, who plays the crazy villain Lee Se Na, brought a different kind of charm to the set. She exuded an adorable aura that contrasted starkly with her character. In one photo, she is seen taking a break with a cute smile after putting her all into her performance.

2PM’s Chansung, whose natural comedic performance brings laughter whenever he appears in the drama, contributed to alleviating the tension of the thriller genre with his bright smiles and goofiness.

Despite being the youngest on set, DKZ’s Jaechan showcased his mature and reliable side, always greeting his seniors with respect.

The production team of “Bitter Sweet Hell” commented, “The cast’s passion for acting, close friendship on set, and exceptional teamwork were crucial catalysts in completing this drama of a new and unique genre. Please tune in to the remaining episodes of ‘Bitter Sweet Hell’ to see the actors giving their all until the end.”
