TV Chosun’s “Durian’s Affair” soared to its highest ratings yet ahead of its series finale!
On August 12, the fantasy romance drama rose to a new all-time high in viewership for its penultimate episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of “Durian’s Affair” scored an average nationwide rating of 7.4 percent, setting a new personal record for the show—and continuing a perfect six-week streak as the most-watched drama in its time slot.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s new comedy thriller “Behind Your Touch” got off to a promising start, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.3 percent for its first episode.
MBC’s new historical romance “My Dearest” earned an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent for its fourth episode, while SBS’s “The First Responders 2″—which airs in the same time slot—scored a nationwide average of 6.0 percent for the night.
tvN’s “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” fell to an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent for its fifth episode.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!” remained the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 20.5 percent.
