MBC Dramanet’s upcoming drama “The Villain of Romance” has shared a sneak peek of its two leads!
“The Villain of Romance” is a coming-of-age story and realistic romance drama about young college “villains” who are still learning about love. B1A4‘s Cha Sun Woo will star as Kang Hee Jae, who insists that he is a cool and understanding guy, but isn’t actually cool in the slightest when it comes to romance and his feelings.
Meanwhile, “All of Us Are Dead” star Ha Seung Ri will play Ban Yu Jin, a highly intelligent older student at Kang Hee Jae’s college. Because the frosty Yu Jin can never seem to keep a relationship going for longer than 100 days, she starts to worry that she’ll wind up living a lonely life alone. So when younger guy Hee Jae boldly shoots his shot, she decides to put him through some intense “training” as they date.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Hee Jae shyly offers Yu Jin a bouquet of flowers as he confesses his feelings. While Hee Jae has full-on heart eyes as he adorably smiles at Yu Jin, her facial expression isn’t visible in the photo, piquing curiosity as to how she’ll react to his romantic gesture.
Another still shows Hee Jae and Yu Jin forming a heart as they pose for a photo together, looking every bit like the perfect college couple.
“The Villain of Romance” premieres on June 5 at 11:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Dramacool.
