The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from July 6 to August 6.
MBC’s “Radio Star” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,194,480, marking a 13.34 percent rise in its score since July. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Swings,” “Jung Sung Ho,” and “Na Sun Wook,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “reveal,” “talk,” and “confess.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 88.42 percent positive reactions.
JTBC’s “Win or Nothing” (“A Clean Sweep”) climbed to second place for August with a brand reputation index of 2,912,167.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” rose to third place with a brand reputation index of 2,653,206.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 2,633,210, and tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” rounded out the top five with a score of 2,631,869.
