Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 7 Recap

Arthdal Chronicles The Sword of Aramun episode 7 begins with a quick recap of the previous episode followed by the confrontation of the Benebot brothers. However, the result of this confrontation is Eunseom’s realisation of the care Saya has developed towards the Ago people with whom he has lived for some time.

He sees that Saya has really become the Inaishingi who cares for his people which makes him agree to working together and bringing a new age to Arthdal. Meanwhile, three of the Ago tribe soldiers are caught by Arthdal soldiers but are intercepted on the way and caught by Karateu who is trying to catch Hae Kkadak and his company.

Elsewhere, Eunseom returns to the tribe and orders Ipsaeng’s release by saying that he was part of a plan to catch the spy. He then meets Chaeeun and has her go back to Saya after informing her of Nunbyeol’s safety. Meanwhile, Hae Kkadak is shocked that Eunseom has a twin and wishes to leave as soon as possible, while Yeolson shows Tagon the iron swords that he has created for him.

While Tagon rejoices with the newfound power, Eunseom tells the elders about the iron swords which has him worried. He tells them that they are left with just two options- either create their own swords or steal the enemy’s weapons. However, this does not diminish his worries as he later ponders about it when Suhana comes to offer her help and support.

Later, Karateu’s men arrive to tell the ago people about the exchange among the captured which brings Eunseom’s attention to Hae Kkadak, who assures them to go through with the exchange and will explain to them that they have not been captured. Back in Arthdal, Yeolson sees the sword of Aramun and is surprised to find out that it is the sword he gave Eunseom.

He confronts Tanya about this who then tells him that she is doing what she thinks is right and will make sure to minimise the bloodshed that is about to happen. As she speaks of the forgotten teachings of the Wahan tribe, she tells Yeolson that she has decided to make Eunseom the Aramun and will make sure to see her plan until the end, even if it means getting rid of Tagon.

Her words are overheard by Yangcha who does not agree with her attacking the king, however, Tanya tells him that she will do as she said and if he wants to tell Tagon about it then she will not stop him. Later, he hands over the list of people who made donations to the temple to Tagon, but when he is about to reveal any information about Tanya, Nunbyeol arrives and has him leave.

Later, he has Gilseon bring one of Taealha’s maids who was a spy planted by him and had pretended to be deaf and mute when serving Taealha. She reveals that Taealha had found someone to kill Saya while the Saya who was in Arthdal was a fake. This shocks Tagon as he sends Gilseon with his orders to the court.

Gilseon announces that Saya is to come back to Arthdal immediately, instead, another commander will go to take his place. He also announces that a banquet will soon be held in the palace and everyone has to attend it. This surprises Taealha as she understands that Tagon must have found out something about Saya, thus, she soon holds a meeting with the elders of the Asa clan.

With this, Taealha plans to bring a big attack on Tagon, meanwhile, Buksoe tells Eunsoem that Hae Kkadak had once worked in the bronze workshop and could be of help to Eunseom. He soon heads to Hae Kkadak to confront him about this with information that Arthdal has succeeded in making iron swords, but is refused to be helped.

Hae Kkadak tells him that he too had tried to use iron for the swords but had failed and may not be able to deliver the results he wished. In addition to this, there is no iron for him to work on. Eunseom then tells him that Buksoe has already revealed the iron meteorite that is in the lake which can be used for their purpose.

This leaves him shocked and the next day Eunseom heads out to find the iron boulder in the lake, but soon finds out that it is too deep to be reached. They then head back and leave to make the exchange with Karateu who tries to instigate them with his words but Eunseom stops his people as he needs Hae Kkadak’s help and needs to keep him safe.

However, during the exchange, Hae Kkadak is taken away by the Igutus who had confronted Saya the last time. This surprises everyone present there as they begin a chase, but they soon find out that fighting these individuals is not easy. However, Karateu tricks the Igutus with a surprise attack and ends up revealing his tribe.

Eunseom and the others are shocked to find out that Karateu is part of the Momo tribe and welcome him with open arms, which leaves the man confused. Back in Arthdal, the banquet begins with the arrival of Tanya but soon falls into silence after the words spoken by Tagon. Taealha arrives during this silence and is suspicious until Tagon confronts her about the fake Saya that she used to trick him and strengthen Arok’s position as heir.

He even brings forth the man she sent to bring back Saya’s body after she attacked him by sending the Shahati children. Taealha is surprised by this but tells everyone present that the king has been delusional since the attack on Arok and himself and has been unable to make sense of things.

Tagon does not let her lead them for long and has her sent to be imprisoned in the Fortress of Fire. He then confronts Tanya and asks if she knows about the fake Saya which she denies. But Tagon does not stop and tells her that he had seen Yangcha in his room telling the fake Saya to leave Arthdal on her orders.

However, Tanya denies this and has Yangcha lie for her, proving that it was just a dream that the king had. His actions have one of the ministers speak out but this infuriates him as he puts the minister on a death sentence. Tanya tries to stop him but he tells her that he is Aramun which makes Tanya say that she was the one who made him Aramun.

Karateu laughs at him and tells him that this is even more of a reason to not help him with whatever he has planned. Back in Arthdal, Saya sneaks to meet the captured Taealha and finds out that Tagon had tricked her into harming him and now she only wishes to kill him. Saya is intrigued by her attitude and tells her his plan to get rid of Tagon for good.

Later, he looks into the records left behind by Taealha’s father to know about the necklace that attracted the attention of the Igutus, however, the information he finds leaves him shocked. Later, he arrives back to his room where Nunbyeol sneaks in to ask him about her sister, but they hear sounds from outside which alerts the two.

However, before he can reveal the plan they hear footsteps and it is none other than Tanya who had heard of Saya’s arrival. Arthdal Chronicles Season 2 Episode 7 Review

Arthdal Chronicles The Sword of Aramoon episode 7 brought waves that made this big wait since episode 6 worth it all. From the three finally arriving on the same page to Tanya finally throwing the burden off her shoulders by confronting her father about the changes in their people, this episode was the beginning of the end of an amazing tale.

The story took another turn this episode and while bringing back forgotten characters, it also brought new characters who will be bringing some big waves in the future. However, what really intrigues us right now is the Ikomahis whose people brought big waves to the Arth land and even in Saya’s heart.

The upcoming episodes are set to be a wonder and our unsatisfied hearts are set for another week-long wait which will not be easy.
