The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 5 to April 6.
tvN’s new variety show “Korean Hostel in Spain” made its debut at the top of the rankings this month, scoring a brand reputation index of 7,902,107 for April. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Cha Seung Won” and “Yoo Hae Jin,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “pleasing,” “like,” and “go well together.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 63.02 percent positive reactions.
MBC’s “I Live Alone” came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 7,898,281 for the month, while TV Chosun’s “Miss Trot” took third place on the list with a brand reputation index of 7,895,366 for April.
