Apink’s Jung Eun Ji will be joining 2PM’s Taecyeon and Ha Seok Jin in a new drama together!
On March 8, a representative of Jung Eun Ji’s agency IST Entertainment stated, “Jung Eun Ji has been cast as the role of Jo Eun Ki in OCN’s new drama ‘Blind’ (literal title).”
“Blind” is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of people who have unfairly become victims because they are ordinary and perpetrators who have closed their eyes to the uncomfortable truths. The story centers around detectives, judges, law school students, and jurors. “Blind” will be written by screenwriter Kwon Ki Kyung of “Andante” and helmed by producing director (PD) Shin Yong Hwi of “Tunnel” and “Voice 4.”
Jung Eun Ji will play the role of social worker Jo Eun Ki. After overcoming all sorts of hardships, Jo Eun Ki becomes a social worker to help at least one more child, and she is a generous and broad-minded person despite her young age.
Having previously impressed with her ability to immerse into character in TVING’s “Work Later, Drink Now,” viewers are looking forward to Jung Eun Ji’s new transformation in “Blind.” Furthermore, in addition to her activities as an actress, Jung Eun Ji recently made a comeback with Apink through their 10th debut anniversary special album “HORN” along with the title track “Dilemma.”
“Blind” will premiere in the second half of 2022. Stay tuned for more updates!
