A new drama has joined the weekend ratings battle!
On January 7, JTBC’s “Agency” premiered to promising viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the new drama starring Lee Bo Young scored an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent for its first episode.
Meanwhile, both JTBC’s “Red Balloon” and tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls Part 2” earned their highest ratings yet for a Saturday (when their ratings are typically lower compared to Sundays). “Red Balloon” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.1 percent, while “Alchemy of Souls Part 2” took first place in its time slot with a nationwide average of 8.2 percent.
SBS’s new drama “Payback” dipped to an average nationwide rating of 7.4 percent for its second episode, while MBC’s “The Forbidden Marriage” earned a nationwide average of 3.2 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” was the most-watched program to air on any channel on Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 21.4 percent.
