“A-TEEN” will be returning with a second season!
 SHINee
Director Han Soo Ji and staff from the first season of “A-TEEN” will return to produce 20 episodes for the second season. Actors from the first season such as APRIL’s Naeun, Kim Dong Hee, Kim Soo Hyun, and Ryu Ui Hyun will be joined by new cast members Kang Min Ah and Golden Child’s Bomin. Shin Ye Eun and Shin Seung Ho will be appearing as special guests.
Bomin will make his acting debut through this drama, where he will be playing the role of a transfer student called Ryu Joo Ha. Although he adjusts to his new life at Seoyeon High School fairly quickly, Ryu Joo Ha has a hidden mental wall built up inside him. Kang Min Ah will appear as Cha Ki Hyun’s (Ryu Ui Hyun) little sister. She will be showing off her chemistry with the original characters as she enters Seoyeon High School as a freshmen.
This season of “A-TEEN” will focus on the changes in the lives of the lead characters as they approach the ages of 18 and 19 (by Korean reckoning). The show will realistically showcase the conflicts and worries the characters will have ahead of what seems like the greatest hurdle in their lives—the college entrance exam. It will also realistically display the many choices they will make in the process of preparing for the exam.
Playlist Studio stated, “‘A-TEEN,’ which received much love last year, has returned with its second season. This season also includes refreshing and happy stories that will help [the characters] form deep bonds of sympathy, so please look forward to it.”
The second season of “A-TEEN” will premiere on April 25 at 7 p.m. KST. It will continue to air every week on Thursdays and Sundays through Facebook, YouTube, and other sites.
