2018 is the Year of YG Entertainment, Artists Scored All-Kill with Their Releases

YG Entertainment's artists have indeed dominated music charts for the entire year. 

 

Staring from iKON, to WINNER, to BLACKPINK, YG Entertainment has sent their aces for music releases. In January, iKON has started the relay with 'Love Scenario.' No need to explain, the song has become a mega-hit after it swept various music charts both inside and outside South Korea. Not only 'Love Scenario,' but iKON has also dominated charts with 'Killing Me' and 'Goodbye Road.' iKON will also be back in December, with a new song.

Brother group WINNER has also struck success with their release, 'Everyday' in April. Known as king of music charts, the 4-member group managed to secure #1 spots here and there. Member Song Minho has also made his breakthrough with his first solo album, 'XX,' and title track 'Fiance.' In spite of the tight competition, 'Fiance' has taken the top spots in various music charts.

Currently the only girl group in the agency, BLACKPINK does not disappoint fans. The 'Ddu-Du Ddu-Du' trend is definitely one thing that we cannot forget from 2018. Since their debut in 2016, the group has been so strong in music charts but this time, they have set new records. The song has even entered Billboard's charts, proving its success overseas. Starting from Jennie, the members will also make their solo debuts. Jennie made their solo debut with 'Solo' in November and it quickly swept all the charts and received an all-kill.
