The first-ever Blue Dragon Series Awards has announced its presenter lineup!
This year, Sports Chosun—which currently presents the famous Blue Dragon Film Awards—will be launching Korea’s first award ceremony specifically for streaming platforms. With the original series content industry continuing to grow, the Blue Dragon Series Awards will honor excellence in dramas and variety shows produced by streaming services as opposed to television networks.
On July 19, the Blue Dragon Series Awards announced the presenters for the upcoming ceremony. The lineup will consist of Kim Young Dae, Noh Jung Ui, Moon So Ri, Park Hyung Sik, AOA’s Seolhyun, Lee Se Young, SHINee’s Key, Hwang Minhyun, and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri.
In addition to Kim Young Dae who recently starred in “Sh**ting Stars” and Noh Jung Ui of “Our Beloved Summer,” talented actresses Moon So Ri and Lee Se Young will be presenting the awards for Best Male and Female Actors in a Drama Series. Park Hyung Sik, who starred in “Soundtrack #1” after returning from his military service, and Seolhyun, who recently starred in “The Killer’s Shopping List,” will be a part of the presenter lineup as well. Key and Hyeri, who portrayed great chemistry through “Amazing Saturday,” will be presenting the Best Male and Female Entertainer awards. Hwang Minhyun who is currently starring in “Alchemy of Souls” will also be joining the presenter lineup.
JaeJae of “MMTG” will be hosting the red carpet for the 1st Blue Dragon Series Awards. She is currently nominated for Best Female Entertainer for her performance in “Girls’ High School Mystery Class.” Earlier this month, Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo were confirmed to host the show.
The first Blue Dragon Series Awards will be held on July 19 at 7 p.m. KST.
