Oishinbo

Shiro Yamaoka and Yuko Kurita, reporters of the "Tozai Shimbun" culture department, passed the taste test and decided to work on creating the "ultimate menu" as a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the company's founding (Volume 1). The combination of Shirou, who was a baggage reporter in the culture department, and Yuko, a new reporter, was regarded as uneasy, but Shirou's keen taste, extensive knowledge, and excellent cooking skills solved various problems through food, and the two gained the trust of the people around them. However, from the encounter with Yuzan Kaihara, a gourmet who presides over the gastronomic club, Shiro turns out to be the real son of Yuzan. Father and son are separated from the feud over their mother's death, and every time they meet by chance, they compete with each other and confront each other in cooking.
